TAP Samba U11 girls were established in Alexandria, VA in 2006. Led by coaches Kab Hakim and Jason Gross, the Samba follow a Brazilian culture of development where the individual player learns to comfortably master the ball under pressure and express herself through creative footwork and combination passing. The Samba perform in a variety of environments from futsal to beach soccer, similar to young players in Brazil, where they are free to experiment with the ball in competition which leads to the kind of self confidence and imagination that top players have in their pursuit of excellence.
The Samba have spent the last 2 years traveling across the nation to test their skills against quality opposition. They have featured in the USFF Futsal National Championships in Los Angeles and Baltimore, the Region 1 Futsal Mid Atlantic Regionals in Downington and Boston, they've played in MLS Futbolito and the Ocean City 5v5 Sand Soccer Championships.

WAGS Festival (VA) 2-0-1
USFF Nationals (MD) 1-2-1
MLS Futbolito (MD) 0-3
